As part of the Wirral Festival of Arts, Polyphonica Recorder Trio (Grace Barton, Michael Piraner and Simone Reid) host an afternoon consisting of massed recorder playing, smaller ensemble coaching and a technique session based on performing vocal music on recorders. This is followed by a concert by the Trio (6-7pm) featuring Renaissance vocal music performed on copies of recorders used in the court of Henry VIII to include pieces by Dunstable, Henry VIII, Janequin and Contessa de Dia.
